Infinite Choices

Each choice you make splits your life into two, your reality and what could have been your reality.

Recently, I have been facing the conundrum of taking a shot at making right choices. Taking in all the different details from a diverse number of sources such as the internet, people and even artificial intelligence to minimise my chances of making a mistake.

I still go through this and you might relate to this situation, but I shall share what I have realised with hopes that it may bring in some sort of benefit to you. Now I am going to be honest, it may be difficult trying to apply everything all at once as it is not quite a switch you flip, but more like a mindset you need to adapt overtime. I have not perfected any of what I am about to mention, but I am trying to get better.

I would like begin by emphasisng that that you should accept mistakes with open arms, that is how you learn. Stop trying to absorb information before undertaking a task because it puts you in a never-ending cycle, especially if you are a perfectionist. Just do, learn how to fix your mistakes, carry on with doing. I also believe that engulfing information should be parallel with whatever you do. That way, you may cover up some holes as you\’re learning new information and may even discover some more holes through your own mistakes.

I would also like to raise the question of what is actually the \”right\” choice for us? Are we really the ones that can determine what is right for us and what isn\’t? Surely other people do not know our nitty gritty details to make our decisions for us, are we in a place to do that? This question may raise conflict considering that people have different beliefs, some people believe in God or perhaps a higher power, others may refer to that higher power as nature. Some people may believe that they are indeed the ones worthy to recognise whether something is right for them or not. This is something to consider, evaluate your beliefs and see how you could link that towards making the \”right\” choices.

In conclusion, embrace your mistakes as they come. Alongside that, recognise that there may always be a \”right-er\” choice that you have not discovered get. Just rely on whatever it is you may believe in to take control and make that choice for you.
